H.D. solved the problem by having two boards signwritten and fixed to the grille. The roping and sheeting on this model is entirely crafted by hand.

The Leyland Steer was a rather unusual looking beast. A.Mitchell & Sons based in Alness in Easter Ross owned this one, ASX 577 ( believed to be an ex BRS wagon) in the 1950's, As was common in those days it often worked with a 4 wheel trailer (known in the day as a dangler).

This Aberdeen firm of meat hauliers ran a fleet of AEC, Albion & Guy trucks in the 60s. This Super Reiver was noteable in that its Albion badge was in the centre of the grille rather than the usual top. The fridge box on this model is completely hand built.

Logans were a big outfit back in the 50's & 60's, constructing massive projects such as hydro electric dams, motorways and even the Tay road bridge. Foden AJS 701 was one of their early prime movers. The cable drums were likely headed for one of the Hydro schemes they built.
