Newtons black & white buses were a common sight in the Highlands in the 70s & 80s with many employed on staff transport for the huge Highlands Fabricators oil rig construction yard at Nigg. Newtons had two of these Atlanteans.

The real JSF 825 was a Baby Seagull re-body on a Bedford chassis. After service with Highland it passed to an independent operator in the west.

ESC 441 was a breakdown tender converted from an ancient AEC bus.It was based at Thurso depot and carries trade plate 247ST. Not one of my original models but a major refurbishment job for a friend.
