A long established firm started over 100 years ago as beer bottlers and aereated water manufacturers. The company grew over the years eventually covering the whole highlands. They were beer, wines and spirits wholesalers but it was for their superb soft drinks that they are best remembered....Orange Crush, American Cola, Cream Soda, Special Lemonade and all the rest....Superb juice....even the dreaded (by parents) Red Cola....guaranteed to have the kids ricocheting off the walls ! ....marvellous stuff. Sadly they have now ceased production of soft drinks and moved on to other enterprises. They ran their own fleet of lorries and I still remember Bedford TK float DSE 72D, from their depot in Tain where I grew up, delivering their wares to local shops, pubs & hotels. Over the years I've built several models of their lorries ranging from a 1913 Commercars to their final Mercedes....here are some examples.....
